This bright and spacious self-catering holiday home is built in local Perigordian stone which has the added advantage of remaining cool in the heat of summer. It is set to sleep up to 4 people as a maximum.

There is a wide choice of shops, markets, attractions, activities, and restaurants within a 2 to 60-minute drive.
Within walking distance find the 'Barrage de Miallet' lake with a 9km circular trail, ideal as an introduction to local flora and fauna. Pack a picnic and enjoy nature at its best. The village of Chalus (15km) is where Richard the Lionheart died and is part of a route where you can discover other places he visited too. Food lovers can enjoy the truffle museum at Sorges (30km) and the Fois Gras museum in Thivier (22km) which also has an excellent market on a Saturday. Brantome (35km) the Venice of the Perigord is a must as are both the nearby Grotte de Villars (20km) for prehistoric cave art and the stunning Chateau de Puyguilhem (23km). To get the best from your holiday a car is important and can be hired at any of the airports serving the Dordogne including Limoges, Brive, Bergerac, and Bordeaux. For those that don't fancy driving every day, it is only a 9-minute drive to the village of La Coquille which has a mainline train service linking Limoges to Perigueux where you can connect to many tourist places in the region as well as major cities in France.
