This bright and spacious self-catering cottage is built from local Perigordian stone which has the added benefit of keeping it cool in the heat of summer. It is designed to sleep a maximum of 4 people.

There is a wide choice of shops, markets, attractions, activities, and restaurants within a 2 to 60-minute drive.
Within walking distance find the 'Barrage de Miallet' lake with a 9km circular trail, ideal as an introduction to local flora and fauna. Pack a picnic and enjoy nature at its best. The village of Chalus (15km) is where Richard the Lionheart died and is part of a route where you can discover other places he visited too. Food lovers can enjoy the truffle museum at Sorges (30km) and the Fois Gras museum in Thivier (22km) which also has an excellent market on a Saturday. Brantome (35km) the Venice of the Perigord is a must as are both the nearby Grotte de Villars (20km) for prehistoric cave art and the stunning Chateau de Puyguilhem (23km). There are many activities and attractions in the region just waiting to be discovered.
To make the most of your holiday a car is essential and can be hired at any of the airports serving the Dordogne including Limoges, Brive, Bergerac, and Bordeaux. For those who don't want to drive every day, it is only a 9-minute drive to the village of La Coquille which has a mainline train service linking Limoges to Perigueux from where you can connect to many of the tourist sites in the region as well as major cities in France.
